This summer was mostly boring except for the concerts I went to, mainly Vans Warped Tour. Vans Warped Tour is an annual cross-country tour of around 100 bands and artists that perform on stage sometime during the day. It lasts from 11am or so until 9 or 10pm, and because it lasts long, the artists are scattered around on about eight stages around the venue (Around here it's usually Blossom Music Center). This was the second year I went and it was on of the hottest days of the summer. The heat index (how hot is feels) was between 95°-100°F and then combine that with being constantly surrounded by hundreds of people, it felt like it was 110°F outside. That day was July, 18, 2013. I saw some great bands while I was there, but I nearly passed out.

Despite me drinking a ton of water, I became the closest I ever have before to passing out. I could not walk straight, my ears were ringing, and I could not see. Everything was pitch black to me even though it was only around one pm. And although that was scary, the rest of my day was fun with my friends and being surrounded by music. I saw some great bands and I am really glad I went, even though it was so horribly hot.
you can stop with your going to concerts and looking at my husbands all sweaty and shirtless and what not
ReplyDeleteNot sure how many husbands you think you can have, but pretty sure the number should be around 1.
DeleteSounds like a blast! Keep up the good work.
